If your mail server will allow a remote domain or relay domain pointed to a 
gateway then setup whatever.yourdomain.com.  Set this as a gateway to relay 
directly to ASSP.  I know you can do this with Exchange and Mdaemon.

I got it right, your  outgoing mails are not going through ASSP ?

I see only one possibility to use the email-interface.

Use an external account with redirect.

So you have [email protected] which redirect to [email protected]
