Well, maybe 'official' isn't the right word, 
and it still depends on willing volunteers.

I would still ask here first, unless you 
prefer the forums.

I wouldn't want to see it go as there are some 
who prefer lists to forums.  (The old 
Sourceforge forums were a mess, but these new 
apps allow phpBB which is much better.)

That said, searching and categorization 
probably win on a forum.
