Hi, I had cindly the same efects. When I restart assp after some days the load of the server was going up (higer than 20 normal was under 5). I found out the rebuildspamdb script was the one. The default config was allowing 14000 files in spam directory. I removed a couple of them and changed the config to 2000. Since then everything went well.
