Hello,
  assp v2.1.1
  perl 5.12.3

I installed v2.1.1, then copied the v1.7 assp.cfg to the target
directory. It started.
I logged on the web admin page in Firefox v7. After 30 - 40 seconds
(during which time my system was completely unresponsive) the admin
page showed but was a mess, completely useless. Apparently the CSS did
not get loaded.
I then terminated ASSP to check a couple of things. When I restarted
ASSP, it began okay, then quietly died after switching to daemon mode.
And has done so ever since. Here is the maillog tail:

Nothing there. Also nothing the </var/log/messages>.

Any ideas why ASSP just quits?
