Hello all,

I have gotten calls from folks trying to send email to
our domain that they have received a message "their email is being
delayed for 7 days" after sending an email to us. These are folks to
whom we exchange emails regularly which to my knowledge should already
been added to the whitelist.

I checked the penalty box settiings it
was set to monitor, and the Expiration for Global-PB-White Records(days)
was set to 7. I changed this to 1 day. Just to test if I can disable it
I set (DoPenalty, default=monitor) to disable. But I still see from the
logs the following entries. Is there still a setting enabled to caused
the limiting?
Oct-18-12 17:06:40 Limiting 66.85.190.0 connections to 5;

Oct-18-12 17:06:37 Limiting 142.4.100.0 connections to 5;
Oct-18-12
17:06:37 Limiting 142.4.100.0 connections to 5;

What's also strange is
that when I searched the sender's mail server IP address if it is in the
penalty box database it does not come up. I then proceeded to add the
mail server IP address into (noPB). Then requested the sender to send a
test email this time the email came through immediately. If the domain
is already in the whitelist why do I still have to do this?

My ASSP
version is ASSP Version: 1.9.4.6(1.0.03)

Thank you in advance.

- Joe
