Hi !

Recently, this mailing list discusses about two MTA ("proxy to TWO mta's (auth
smtp to one and non-auth to another"). But my problem is different:

Is it possible to do a SMTP AUTH in one server (only to check if user is OK),
but DELIVER e-mail to another ?
My scenario is:

1) SMTP AUTH CLIENT (port 587)
Internet -> ASSP -> SMTP AUTH (192.168.1.5) -> AUTH OK? -> Audit System
(192.168.1.10) -> MTA (192.168.1.5)

2) SMTP server-to-server (port 25)
Internet -> ASSP -> Audit System (192.168.1.10) -> MTA (192.168.1.5)

My Audit/Profiler software does not have skills to authenticate the connection.
It is only capable to collect and store
some informations and forward the message to be processed by the final MTA.

Thank you very much for the incredible ASSP !

Best regards,

Alexandre
