This is sort of solved. Instead of switching back to V1, all I did was to move everything back from DB then spamdb rebuild worked just as it should and the spam server is doing what it should be. Everything appears to be working fine.
At some point, I will spend the time needed to sort out which linux version is the least troublesome to use with assp in terms of keeping perl up to date but for now, this has been working for over a week without issues. Thanks for the help. -----Original Message----- From: m...@grounded.net Sent: Saturday, May 18, 2013 7:54 AM To: assp-users Subject: [Assp-user] rebuild kills assp even with correct perl Every time I manually run the spam rebuild, assp dies almost immediately. He is saying that assp doesn’t work with the 64bit version of perl because I cannot find anything on this to help me know where the problem version or other problem might be.
