the senderbase service is free only up to a given number of queries,
after that, any further DNS query coming from a given IP won't get a
valid answer (or will get a "pass"); now, if you're running ASSP and
either have a lot of traffic or (worse) configured your box to use some
open resolver (like OpenDNS or GoogleDNS) then what you're seeing is
normal; see, a lot of people uses open resolvers and since the DNS
lists (not only senderbase !) can only see the IP of the DNS server
which sends them a query (and no, NOT the IP of the box issuing the
query, the IP of the DNS to which the box sends it !) it's easy for
such open resolvers used by a lot of people to get "blocked" by such
lists, be those senderbase, spamhaus or whatever else
