Can't tell if sarcasm or something else that I am not understanding...
I am not sure how this is relevant to assp or if you have some issue
with Fedora or recent kernel versions, but Fedora 18 is a currently
supported version:

Current Supported Releases

Fedora 19 (Schrödinger's Cat)
Fedora 18 (Spherical Cow)
Fedora 17 (Beefy Miracle)

Are there distro restrictions on as far as what ASSP will work on?
The perl version seems to be reasonably recent, but if more recent
packages/kernel would work better I can move assp to that.

Thanks.

Sorry December 3rd 2009. - about 4 years old.

Interesting, but I am not using that stuff for email real hardware
servers so I don't care about that - on the other hand I could
continue this thread by listing the advances in the kernel since 4
years ago in 2.6.32 but it would be a long list and I didn't come here
for religious distro discussions so I won't do that. However, I will
apologize if my choice of distro/kernel version offends anyone for any
reason.
