local users should never send mails as envelope sender '<>' if you have any hardware that is reporting via email - set a local sender address in its setup if your MTA generates NDR - set postmaster@yourdomain as sender

'relay attempt blocked for: - because RelayOnlyLocalDomains is set to ON'. Usually you'd see the email address in the log after 'blocked for:' statement, but in these instances its always blank. Has anyone come across this before?
