I had the same problem. Stop assp, make sure all is complete (full zip
indeed), clear browser cache, restart assp. That is what worked for me,
although not in one go and not immediately: after I while I just let it
run for half an hour and then it started picking itself up slowly - the
interface became more normal with every refresh.
I have no idea what is causing this.

Sounds like there are some files missing - probably in the "assp/images"
folder. You may want to download a full zip and install.
