On Linux 3.2.0 / Ubuntu 12.04 I have a reproducable crash with ksh JM 93u 2011-02-08. Whenever I type "# " (a hash and a blank) there's a SIGSEGV. I can just type it in the console or edit the history (vi-mode, also in emacs-mode), same effect.
Is this a known issue?
