GIPS issued a press release today saying Google have licensed various GIPS codecs. I'm sure Google have got the clout to go to the licensees and say "we're going to do a VoIP product, let's do a flat rate deal". Or only pay when someone actually uses it. Maybe that's why they needed to raise another $4bn ;) However even if the licensees do publish rates, they're commmercial organisations and probably open to offers. If Google came to you offering to license something would you go "sorry these are our rate cards, end of story!"?
