We easily handle a dozen T1s on a single Telephony Server 5000 running Class
5 services. That's not the issue.
If the client is in a modern office building it will be a far happier
experience for him to run modern wiring compared to the nightmares he will
have, in our opinion, with channel banks. Then a couple of Lintel servers
running a redundent dial plan will easily do his job.

The customer wants to replace the existing PBX but not the phones and
existing wiring; primarily becuase of the existing investment in
analog phones AND no LAN wiring in place for IP Phones to connect.
A single Asterisk server would require one T1 for 24 incoming trunks
and
9 T1 and 9 channel banks to serve 200 analog phones!!!
I am sure some of you have dealt with situation - any general ideas
how to go about accomplishing this?
Three Digium or Sangoma quad-port cards.
