What's the configuration of $3407.30 server, or is it two servers? And
isn't $300 good enough to buy good IP phones?

phones?
OK...
30 ext * $300 (labor and cheap phones) = $9000
2 * $700 POE Switches = $1400
1 * $3407.30 Server = $3407.30
2 * $800 UPS = $1600
20 * $100 labor = $2000
$17,407 or less than half of a nortel system cost from your favorite
teleco.
Steak Dinners can replace billable hours if they fit into the
schedule... :)

However, the point of my reply to the OP is that I start charging as
soon as I start working. That includes going over his inadequate
description of the work needed. Some people think I am arrogant
because
I don't do free evaluations. My standard "sales proposal" is rather
simple:
Ad hoc time - $N per hour(subject to credit approval)
Prepaid block of X hours at Y per hour.
Some prospects find this to be too arrogant but it filters out the
ones
who are wasting my time.
I should mention that I don't charge people for calls or meetings
where
I discuss my qualifications. I might even give them some free general
advice, especially if they are buying me a good lunch.

$50 an hour? What country? Not the US that's for sure.
Minimum you could get a decent phone guy is $75ish.
FWIW I'm $100 an hour if the customer inists on hourly. I'd rather
quote the price for the finished job.

Hi,
How much it costs to have somebody setup an Asterisk server, for
let
say
15 extensions in one office, 15 in another, and make a good IVR
menu
with call recording, queuing and other features? Also if needed,
to
setup web interfaces to access recordings and other features using
a
web
browser?

Hi Cheap phones 300?
even a polycom 301 that is not definitelly a cheap phone will be around
200 including labor, a POE switch is a great switch i recommend u stick
to them... other switch could work... but...

for set the phone we can go to 200. plus shipping
we try grandsreams bt 102 ... S.... Horrible, i have a call center with
300 of then.. what a nightmare
but with the 1.0.7.11 firmware all the prblems disappear and u have
decent callcenter.
with 30 phones u don't need a super server as was discussed in this list
before u can get a server like this.

595.00 usd so basically is 2105
Labor.. depends... usually btw 50 - 100 usd the hr in the states.. we
are modest we change 85 usd/hr but we can provide u even a GUI for your
asterisk server that will control the server and ur SIP phones.
