Suzanne,

I agree with this last issue that you have as I sell Mexico Origination (toll free and local) .

Often times it involves hand holding the client through their configuration. I have sold Mexico

Origination that is connecting to all kinds of boxes, but if the user can not handle their end of it. The whole process is much more difficult.

The difficuilty lies in having the ability to determine when the problem is yours and when it is not.

Considering I am far likely to have more hours into tech support selling Mexico Origination to an Asterisk user than someone terminating into any other kind of device, I have from time to time considerd charging more, as they always think I can send them config files.

These Asterisk users however should reaalize that I am not selling them asterisk support, nor can I send them config files, as I do not use asterisk ANYWHERE at present!

Dear Dovid,

We're happy to see your ideas for improvement and the opportunity to
respond.

Please CLICK on any member ID, and see the following:
1. The date the DIDX member signed up
2. The total DID's they have offered
3. Their rating (results of the documentation the member has provided to
DIDX)

Future plans include:
Upgrading all members to a platinum scale for a few months at no charge.
When this occurs, you will be able to view complete details of who the
seller is, so that you can contact them directly if you wish.

DIDX rolled out to the public in beta form on August 1, 2005; therefore, you
can only view the membership since that date. In addition, some users signed
up before the beta release. All DID's began to billed as of August 1, 2005.

I've noted that two DIDX members posted their concerns over the problems of
providers leaving DIDX. One was refunded as always, according to the DIDX
FAQ, for any DID that did not work for 30 days. The second member wanted us
to fix his Asterisk server for free. We have never stated that DIDX
including fixing its members' Asterisk servers. We referred this member as
well as others to Digium.com. These are the facts.

Thank You,
Suzanne Bowen

Hello List,
There has been a lot of critsicim lately about
DIDX.org. I think most of it was deserving. I think
that people here have posted in full truth as to what
has happend to them. A lot of thier practices are
shady etc. However I was thinking about it today and
as we know a majority of the problem is that sellers
go on there, sell DID's and pull out. This is
something that to an extent they can not control.
Anyways I was going to buy a DID from a provider that
I have been using for the past 9 months that has been
working great. I went to DIDX to see if the provider
was on there anf they were. The price on DIDX was $.50
chepaer per month (which add's up). I was thinking of
them maybe having a rating system on thier site for
companys that have been with them 3 Months, 6 Months
etc. problem free. Either way if you are going to buy
a DID from a provider that you use it cant hurt to
check there first to see if it's cheaper.

Regards,
Dovid
PS Sorry for the spelling mistakes.
