Alternatively, if you are at PIPE Networks/Powertel in Australia you could get PRI's off us! If you didn't mind getting a VoIP Interconnect, that optionb is also always available.

Speak to Optus, Telstra, iPrimus. PRI's are offered as minimum 10 channels. Pricing varies from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars for the installation and then monthly charges + call charges. Telstra is the incumbent telco and are very expensive ( http://www.telstra.com.au/isdn/isdn10_20_30.htm ), Optus pricing is better ( http://www.optusbusiness.com.au/doclib/prodserv/documents/OptusMultiLine_0905.pdf ) , and iPrimus are ok as well ( http://www.primustel.com.au/business/voice/ )

Thanks, but unfortunately I am tied in to analog faxes. I need 100% retention of all incoming and outgoing faxes with a hardcopy print of everything received incl. date/time stamp.

AFAIK this will not work / be possible with Hylafax et al.

But thanks for the suggestion :)

A Sangoma A101u T1/E1 card will do the trick as well:

It works with Asterisk, and has built-in fax-detection.
Very good quality.

Thanks,
Bjorn

I'm looking for a reasonable priced E1 channel bank.

Is it just me or are they hard to find? I just need some channels for
fax, I don't need a huge chassis or even all 30 channels.

The channelbank should work with Asterisk.

Thanks!
