George,

Perhaps you could try to fix the problem. I also had the exact same problems until recently. If the provider is using asterisk, have them switch to INFO instead of rfc2833. It fixed my problems.

Hello everyone,
I've been having a lot of headaches with my current 800 number
provider, dtmf gets messed up 50% of the time..doubling digits,
missing digits...(I'm using rcf2833 over ulaw)
Does anyone know a GOOD,RELIABLE provider that can give me a tollfree
number for a decent price? I need it to be forwarded over SIP to my
asterisk box at a colocation.

Thanks!

George
