Unfortunately we have a desperate need for mysql configuration among other things. The asterisk-addons package provides that and it's not one of the patches that the asterisk port provides. It also happens to be required by AMP, which I really want to get working on this box. To reply to Dinesh Nair, I've tried this once already, and my make output changes to what I've got at the end of this message.
