Welcome,

now I have returned back to development of zaptel-bsd branch. I'll check such condition, and patches/solution w'be available asap. Problem not in te4xxp driver, new zaptel logic are implemented to avoid selwakeup() deadlock in INTR_FAST interrupt handlers.

Subject: [Asterisk-bsd] TE410 on asterisk REV1 Card

28 calls it uses up 70% of the CPU

tracked down the cpu hog to a process called zt_selwakeup_thread
which appears in the zaptel.c.

USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TT STAT STARTED TIME COMMAND
root 11 56.3 0.0 0 8 ?? RL 3:02PM 12:12.83 [idle]
root 515 24.5 0.0 0 8 ?? DL 3:03PM 0:03.80 [zt_selwakeup_thread]

thats with about 15 calls

on our linux box this takes up less then

15 calls would take about 10% of the cpu.

need to get help fixing this so that we can use it . and not have to go back
to linux...

Input asap please
