i've already started work on a branch to the zaptel-bsd drivers to make them in sync with Asterisk/Zaptel 1.4. they should be available from the zaptel-bsd svn in about 7 days.
in the interim, if folk who have Digium/Sangoma cards and are willing to test Asterisk 1.4 and zaptel-bsd could send me an email, i could send you dev releases for testing and feedback.
