I have a virtual PRI coming in over SIP, and I found that sometimes calls coming in to a toll-free DID had really strange caller ID numbers.
I opened a ticket with my carrier, and they told me that originating wireless carriers usually substitute a bogus caller ID number when calling toll-free. I seem to remember hearing something about a scam that used a cellphone to falsely authenticate a western union transfer or something like that. Could that be a possibility? -Tim On Tuesday 25 November 2008 14:18, Adam Vande More wrote: > Okay this really isn't BSD specific question but the digium forums have > provided no response so maybe someone here can provide some insight. > > I'm having an issue with the reported caller id off of a native bride. > Under certain conditions, call are automatically routed to different > endpoints.
