How difficult (or time consuming) would it be to create a one-line entry into a README-Changes type text file when a bug gets applied to Stable? Something like Date, Bug Number, and Short Description maybe auto- exported from the cvs system when its applied? I understand not all fixes actually come through a bug entry, but it appears the majority do and that certainly would help folks understand what is/isn't applied. Example: 9/1/05 #4567 xyz doesn't work Stable v1.06 released 7/1/05 #3456 zap channel doesn't hang up Just a thought.
