What is 'predictable'? The trunk has been in feature freeze for a while now, 
and we are working on merging the last of the features that were accepted 
before the freeze, plus committing some other work that has been pending.

Many people run it now, so I'd say the answer to your question is yes. In fact, 
if there is ever a situation where it does not even compile, then a committer 
has done something wrong.
