I haven't really started working through the warnings - the most I've done is 
look at a few to see what kinds of things it was finding.

If someone would like to start cleaning some of them up, that would be hugely 
appreciated. Once the warnings are addressed, we can pull clang into the 
continuous integration builds in Bamboo.
