Ok, After saying this, I thought it was a user error (sorry :P )
But I dug through the code last night, and the setup pages, and changed a lot of things having to do with system calls. I would suggest updating to trunk (or latest version of *now) via svn, like the following: svn co http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk-gui/trunk asteriskgui-trunk; cd asteriskgui-trunk; sh configure; make; make install; make samples or for asteriskNOW svn co http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk-gui/branches/asterisknow asteriskgui-now; cd asteriskgui-now; sh configure; make; make install; make samples Make sure to run those as root, or use sudo where appropriate. Try it, and if it STILL doesn't work after removing /var/lib/asterisk/static-http and /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf and reinstalling it, then we will dive into more in depth analysis today.
