Good point Trevor, and you are correct, except that it is not like T1 in the sense that the D channel is at the end.
It DOES depend on the provider, but usually, the D channel is 15. The only way to know is call your provider, they will tell you. -Brandon Trevor Benson wrote: > Not positive as I do T1 most often, but I think E1 is 32 channel, so 1-31 > being voice channels and 32 being the D channel, again I could easily be > wrong. > > Trevor > > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:asterisk-gui- >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of bkruse >> Sent: Monday, July 28, 2008 11:58 AM >> To: Asterisk GUI project discussion >> Subject: Re: [asterisk-gui] E1 Problems with Asterisknow - Help needed >> >> Sounds like, in the case of one full E1 line, the D channel is no >> longer 15 (as you probably have defined in users.conf (or zapata.conf) >> and zaptel.conf) >> >> -bk >> >> Abdul WASIM wrote: >> >>> All of a sudden my ISP decided to change some configurations of >>> >> their >> >>> E1 Channels.
