Noah, Yea, loading that many conferences would probably cause that. If I'm not mistaken I do quite a bit of jQuery DOM searches in the loadConferences function. It could probably be optimized a good bit if those were stored.

Once loaded, the performance is pretty good. The sections open and close quickly, and the status on extensions updates right away.
