Hi, I am glad that manual be usefull.
The symbolic link that you mentioned, solves a problem with that chan_ss7 version and dahdi (it tries to find /dev/zap instead of /dev/dahdi). The other symbolic links are only for keeping readable the chan_ss7' Makefile.
