As I said in a followon message, the new behavior for "MWI: yes" (new+old) is not really standard behavior in voicemail systems.
Yes, sip debug said: Content-Type: application/simple-message-summary Content-Length: 36 Message-Waiting: yes Voicemail: 0/3 Personally allowing for the "Voicemail: 0/3" for SIP implementations that support that is fine, but I think the MWI light should only go on if there are NEW UNLISTENED to messages. -----Original Message----- From: Mark Spencer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 4:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Latest CVS build/SIP MWI indicator stays on... We changed the format of the messages to be able to display the actual number of voicemail messages. It is possible that for some reason the Cisco does not like the new message format, or that somehow the message isn't going out correctly. Try turning on sip debug with "sip debug" and see if the "Notify" message is going out with the correct values: Content-Type: application/simple-message-summary Content-Length: xxx Message-Waiting: no Voicemail: 0/0 Mark On Wed, 26 Mar 2003, Lenny Tropiano / asterisk.org Mailing list wrote: > In the latest CVS build (today) my MWI indicator on my 7960 came on > and stays on without any messages in my mailbox.
