If it is expensive to get a separate LAN connection for analog phone adapters, you can get one with 2 ethernet port and 1 FXS port such that it can connect your PC and analog phone over a single cable to the network. It is not difficult to find such kind of analog adapters for around US$50 or lower. There is also models that provide a FXO port for connecting to PSTN.
