No I got confused....yes they are FXO modules with POTS lines coming from bell attached.
The only thing I can think of is that since the card supports 3.3v or 5v PCI slots that maybe on a 3.3v slot it requires the other connection all the time because it really does need the 5v and is just not picky about where it comes from. -Jonathan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Andrew Kohlsmith Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2005 9:44 AM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Is it mandatory to give power supplytoTDM400Pcard On Thursday 11 August 2005 09:30, Jonathan k. FXO plug into regular phone lines, FXS plug into telephones... Unless Digium changed something and now powers both off of that 12V supply... -A. _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
