I'm going to bet that it's codec negotiation. I posted a "sip debug" trace yesterday. I'm not inside the code to a degree that would let me nail anything down, but there were some things in there that lead me to think that asterisk doesn't think the Budgetone shares any codecs with it. . .


It will be interesting to see what eventually transpires.
