Hi, Just back from the Rugby match, (we won), and am now trying again to get asterisk to auto start without being there when the server reboots.
Wipe Out asked: Have you got the zaptel drivers loading at startup? This can either be done by using modprobe commands in the rc.local or by using the init script that comes with the zaptel source.. just run "make config" from /usr/src/zaptel (AFAIK only for redhat).. I can see them unload when I issue the reboot command. Just before the Logon prompt appears on boot I see a message but it goes before I can read it and the prompt to logon appears. If I scroll back up the screen the message is not there. I now have only ./safe_asterisk in my rc.local file.
