So the basic rules where NAT is involved are..
Asterisk server must always be on a public IP address..
You keep saying this, but it is not correct.
I have several asterisk servers running behind NAT servers, and they function perfectly.
I won't say configuring them was as easy as doing the ones on public IPs, but it is not impossible, just tricky.
