Hi,
Installed 1.4.0 libpri and 1.4.0
zaptel and everything went smoothly. I configured asterisk 1.4.0 with no
problems (./configure), but when I compile it (make), it fails with this
error:
[LD] res_snmp.o snmp/agent.o ->
res_snmp.so
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libz.a(gzio.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC /usr/local/lib/libz.a: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [res_snmp.so] Error 1 make: *** [res] Error 2 How do I recompile with -fPIC?
