just like Qwest ?

We're on XO in Houston, and it is definitely not Level 3.  This is an XO network here.

I also have a Covad SDSL account, it hits Level 3 pretty quickly, but has to go to either DC or Chicago before it comes back to our XO connection.

We're currently using XO with a PRI.  I'm real interested in their VoIP package.  When we signed on, my rep told me it wasn't complete yet.  She said most connections will have to be done using a PRI connection.  In other words, T1 from them, going to a Cisco router, then PRI into my phone system.  From the Cisco router on up the line, it would be SIP.  Seems to me that Asterisk should be able to replace that Cisco router and connect directly to them using SIP.

If anyone has any experience with this, I'd love to hear about it.

When I checked with XO about DSL in Houston, at that time, they were reselling DSL.  Their DSL was not on their network.  I had wanted to get DSL for my house through them.  With Covad at both locations, I'm a hop away between my house and my office.
