mpg123 is availble, as usual, as a deb package. Etch/Sid have a decent
version of it, unlike the old and buggy version in Sarge.
However: the only real reason to use mpg123 is to stream remote mp3
music. For anything else, use either native musiconhold, or offline
decoding of the mp3 files.
