The directory file has an <sd> Speed dial index tag. The phone honours this index when displaying entries on the LCD screen and when the up arrow is pressed. However, it does not honor this order, and instead displays entries in alphabetical order, when you press the 'Directories' button.

I created a list of contacts in XML and it shows up on the side cars exaclty how I set it up in the XXXXXXXXXXXX-directory.xml file (in the order that I wanted it etc.). However when I hit the directories button and then contact directory I see the list in alphabetical order based on the last name. I want it to show up in this list as well in the order that I specified and NOT in alphabedical order. Thanks a lot. Dovid
