Its not true, by the way. I've assisted more than one person using a Sangoma who was having issues caused by interrupt stuff. And it was the same sort of things that might affect a Digium board- motherboard raid disabling interrupts, sharing an IRQ with a heavy-interrupting LAN card, etc. Not suprising since its the same underlying problem - excessing interrupt handling latency.
