I noticed safe_asterisk is nolonger used from the init.d script (on ubuntu) for asterisk-1.6.0-beta9. I'm curious if there is another init.d script out there, or even the best way to call safe_asterisk. Or is safe_asterisk nolonger the script of choice for starting, restart asterisk.
One of the main reason we like it, is the email notification if it crashes.
