Well, you *can* use the proxy to provide near-end NAT traversal. The UAC module won't help much here; your best bet is to statefully relay the REGISTER messages and the corresponding challenges. There is a "nathelper" module that can help you fix up the contact bindings if it they contain RFC1918 addresses. However, it should be emphasised in no uncertain terms that your UAC (Asterisk) must originate the request and relay it through the proxy; the proxy cannot originate it itself. -- Alex Balashov Evariste Systems Web : http://www.evaristesys.com/ Tel : (+1) (678) 954-0670 Direct : (+1) (678) 954-0671 Mobile : (+1) (706) 338-8599 _______________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
