There was a phone the was kinda idea in this manner, the Zultys 4x4...but it's no longer available. It had a built-in 4 port switch and router. It was also POE capable. It ran embedded Linux. It was very cool when you needed a single-device networking solution. A frien of mine used then with a travel agency where all the agents worked from home. They were very cool in a convergence sense, but in the end not the greatest phones IMHO.
