safe_asterisk is a script that usually lives at /usr/sbin/safe_asterisk. The script runs in the background. If it detects that Asterisk died, it can send you an email before restarting Asterisk. safe_asterisk is not the problem, but it can be useful as a band-aid until you find the real problem. -- Thanks in advance, ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Edwards sedwa...@sedwards.com Voice: +1-760-468-3867 PST Newline Fax: +1-760-731-3000 -- _____________________________________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- New to Asterisk?
