Assuming that you don't have "around the clock" phone traffic, it's a "good idea" (IMO) to cron a "restart when convenient" at about midnight local time each day.

He has restarted the console and we restarted the phone in question. Still the light stays solid red despite the fact that there are no calls in progress. Since this isn't happening on any other extension I am not sure what to look at. Does anyone have any advice on what might be causing this and where the first place I need to look is?
