This is quite possibly a daft question, but it is possible to run * and gnugk on the same system with gnugk acting as a proxy for netmeeting endpoints and feeding everything for PSTN and SIP out through *?
While you may be able to make it work, it will not be a very friendly solution. The real question is, do you really need a gatekeeper?
Then at the risk of being flamed (again) why do you need H.323? Most real IP Phones out there have some other firmware option than H.323 and there are certianly carriers out there that have seen the light and offer some other VoIP signalling protocol.
