+1. We've used quite a few DES-1228P units in the past, and apart from 2 early unit failures, we've not had any failures since (out of a few dozen).

The management interface isn't great, especially if you're used to the command line goodness of an HP or Cisco unit, but provided you aren't fiddling with it too often, you'll manage.
