Ed, Are you keeping the desktop phones, or upgrading to new phones?

Hello, I manage a small office and we have a 4-year old legacy analog PBX manufactured by Iwatsu. We have four incoming analog lines that terminate to 7 different desktop phones. The interface to Iwatsu requires Windows and the Iwatsu admin tools are proprietary and not extensible. What do I need to do to begin using Asterisk and/or Digium to create an open source PBX situation? I do not know where to begin in terms of harware needed, changes to service levels from my telco (Sprint), etc. Can I leverage any of my existing PBX technology? Thank you in advance, Ed ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ed Mansouri Ucompass - http://www.ucompass.com Make sure we stay connected to you Add yourself to the Ucompass Address Book http://support.ucompass.com/addressbook.html Committed to Building Profitable E-Learning Enterprises Phone: (850) 297 1800 x 201 FAX: (850) 553-9252 _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
