I currently have a Fractional T1 coming into my site which runs into an adtran device which splits out 10 channels for data in the form of an ethernet interface and 14 analog lines for voice.
The ethernet goes directly to a pix firewall. How would I split out the T1 so that it sends a T1 to the asterisk server and still provides the ethernet to the pix. can I use a splitter and use the existing adtran and run a line directly to the T1 card in the asterisk server --or would this mess up the signalling? thanks for your assistance.
