There is nothing special with the Snom phones. The empty dialplan string is normal. You only have to specify the displayname, account, password and registrar. I think you have a mistake in your extensions.conf. Does it work with another (soft)phone?

All I need is for it to send all calls regardless of format to the asterisk box.
